Social capability is about a person’s ability to manage their relationships, lives, work, and learning. It acknowledges the mauri (life principle, life force, the essential quality and vitality present in anything) that is present in every person’s life. It includes a person’s ability, skill, and talent to interact and coordinate with other people and groups to achieve particular goals. It involves:

  • communicating effectively
  • working collaboratively
  • making suitable decisions
  • negotiating and resolving conflict
  • achieving goals.
