This indicator will show work-related injuries per 1,000 full-time equivalent employees.
This measure still needs to be developed.
As a proxy we have information on the rate of people per 1,000 in the equivalent of full-time work (ie full-time equivalent employees, FTEs) who have had a claim accepted for a work-related injury. It is based on workplace claims to the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC).
Currently, this is the best measure available for work-related injuries.
